Do Free markets also offer a fair society?

One of the new subjects for me in the last two years of High School is Economics. Whilst, the first year has started with fundamental theories and concepts, I have enrolled myself in an online course from an overseas university.

the online course is allowing me get into several new ideas and quite interestingly how so many of the traditional concepts are coming under great debate in the last ten years or so. From champions of open markets, the developed countries are voicing their opinions toward a more protected environment through the political process.

I had to do an opinion article on Free markets and a Fair society as a part of the assignment for the online course. I have attached it here for all of you.
